Projectsdeal is an academic writing service founded in 2001, headquartered in London, United Kingdom. We serve students and researchers in 60+ countries worldwide.
2. What Data We Collect
Contact information: Name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, country.
Order information: Document type, academic level, subject, deadline, requirements, files you upload.
Payment information: Card details are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor (Stripe, PayPal) — we do not store full card numbers.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited. Collected via cookies (see Cookie Policy).
3. How We Use Your Data
To deliver the academic writing service you ordered. To communicate with you about your order (email, WhatsApp). To process payments. To improve our website and service. To comply with legal obligations.
4. Lawful Basis (GDPR)
Contract (delivering your order), legitimate interests (improving service, fraud prevention), consent (marketing emails, optional cookies), and legal obligation.
5. Who We Share Data With
The PhD writer assigned to your order (anonymised — they see no personal data beyond your nickname / order ID). Our payment processors. Our hosting provider. Tax authorities where legally required. We never sell your data. We never share data with marketing companies.
6. Data Security
SSL encryption on all data transmission. Encrypted storage. Access on a need-to-know basis with two-factor authentication. NDA on file with every writer.
7. Data Retention
Order data: 7 years (tax / accounting compliance). Email correspondence: 3 years. Files you upload: deleted 90 days after delivery unless you request earlier deletion.
8. Your Rights (GDPR + CCPA)
Right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, object. Right to opt out of marketing. Right to lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) or your local data protection authority. To exercise rights, email privacy@projectsdeal.com.
9. International Transfers
If we transfer data outside the EU/UK (e.g., to writers in other countries), we use Standard Contractual Clauses or transfer to countries with adequacy decisions.
10. Children
Our service is not directed to under-18s. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We update this policy periodically. Material changes are notified by email and on this page.
