PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) 2020 is a 27-item checklist and four-phase flow diagram. It is the global standard for reporting systematic reviews. Hundreds of journals including Lancet, JAMA, and BMJ require PRISMA compliance.
Do you follow Cochrane Handbook?
Yes for healthcare reviews. The Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions (Higgins-Thomas) is the canonical methodology. We follow it for search strategy, screening, data extraction, RoB, synthesis and GRADE.
